1/26/21 - This is a nice Winchester M1 Garand that was re-worked after the war, whether by the CMP or for Korea. Serial dates the receiver to early 1943. Barrel is SA marked and dated to 1949. Stock has DOD stamp and circle P on wrist. Very nice finish on the metal, most of the wear is on the gas tube. Terrific bore. Muzzle between a 2-3, throat less than 1. Stock has many dings and nicks but no cracks. Comes with postwar leather sling.
